Ring - School of Fish
Details
Material: 14kt Euro white gold, 14kt yellow gold, 22.83ct aquamarine, 0.025ct Top Wesselton diamonds
Looking through the aquamarine, it feels like looking out into the sea…
The underlying ring band symbolizes the sand on the seabed, distorted by the unique cut of the aquamarine, just as it would be in water. When the ring band is turned, the "sand" begins to move. A school of fish, suggested by small diamonds, swims by. The shape of the fish is enhanced by a special grain setting. The inclusions in the aquamarine resemble tiny air bubbles in water.
I deliberately chose the mix of yellow and white gold. The yellow gold symbolizes the sun reflected in the water, the white gold, the cool water.
What makes this ring special is not only the impression created by the turning process, but also the technique used to create the ring band. In the Ossa Sepia casting process, molten metal is poured into a mold made from the backbone of a cuttlefish, resulting in a unique marine texture.
Ring size 52/53.
A truly unique piece. Handmade in Vienna.
