Elisabeth Habig is a goldsmith and milliner based in Vienna's city centre. Her work brings together three areas of expertise: millinery, jewellery artistry/goldsmithing, and theatre, film, and media studies. This unusual combination allows her to pursue particularly innovative and interdisciplinary approaches in jewellery and headwear design.

Since April 2019, she has been running her own shop and studio at Spiegelgasse 25, 1010 Vienna.

The pieces are characterized by a sculptural design that combines exceptionally cut gemstones, raw, unpolished gemstones, and unique surfaces. The designs follow a timeless design language that connects tradition and modernity – inspired by nature and entirely handmade.

All pieces are created in small quantities or as custom orders in the Vienna studio, without mass production.

The team consists of three people: Elisabeth Habig as founder and creative director, Eveline Habig for customer service, and goldsmith Hanna Kowalska.

Elisabeth has been awarded and nominated multiple times at the Austrian JEWELLERY STARS Awards.

The collection includes: rings, stacking rings, earrings, earring pendants, bracelets, necklaces, brooches/pins, as well as the special collector's necklace. In addition, there are special categories for engagement rings and wedding rings.

Yes. The men's range includes rings, bracelets, necklaces, cufflinks and brooches. Engagement rings for him are also available.

The collection necklace is a special concept: a basic chain onto which various pendants can be collected and combined over time. This creates a very personal, growing piece of jewelry that tells its own story.

Earring pendants are detachable additions that can be attached to existing earrings (hoops, studs, etc.). They allow a look to be changed in a few simple steps – from simple to elaborate. The assortment includes, for example, pendants with tourmaline crystals, black and brown diamonds, or turquoise diamonds.

Yes, vouchers are available in the online shop under "Extras" and are ideal as gifts. The value can be freely chosen. The voucher can be conveniently printed at home and given away.

The jewelry is mainly made from recycled gold and silver. In addition to gold and platinum, wedding rings are also available in tantalum—a particularly hard, hypoallergenic metal.

For the casting processes, Elisabeth Habig works with selected Austrian and German foundries that predominantly use recycled gold. One of her cooperation partners is ÖGUSSA, a traditional Austrian company for precious metals.

The assortment includes a wide range of gemstones: classic and colored diamonds (white, black, brown, turquoise), sapphires, tourmalines, moonstones, rubellites, as well as raw minerals and exceptionally cut gemstones. Rough diamonds and rough sapphires are also a special offering.

Gemstones play a central role in the design process – often, a piece of jewelry is created as a direct response to the unique beauty of a discovered stone.

Wherever possible, stones are used whose origin is known or demonstrably documented. Elisabeth Habig works closely with small, specialized suppliers with whom trust has been built over many years.

The gemstone trade is generally complex, and complete traceability is not always possible. However, we deliberately work with partners who are committed to responsible sourcing and transparent communication.

Generally: Jewelry should be protected from contact with chemicals, perfume, and strong sunlight. Regular polishing with a soft cloth is recommended for silver jewelry.

Gold and platinum are generally well tolerated by the skin. The wedding rings made of tantalum are made of a particularly hypoallergenic material that is excellently suited for people with metal allergies. Please speak directly with the team if you have specific allergies – by phone, email, or at a consultation appointment.

There are two types of collections:

Recurring Collections (available multiple times): Globetrotter, Geometric Rock, Skyline, Sea Urchin, Bags, Mineral, and Collector's Necklace.

"One of a Kind" Collections (single pieces/unique items): Sapphire Haze, Cosmic Dust, Ossa Sepia, and Radici Dell'Anima. Each piece in these collections exists only once.

A unique piece of jewelry is one of a kind. It will not be reproduced. These pieces are especially for wearers who are looking for something absolutely exclusive – a piece of jewelry that truly belongs only to them. Once a unique piece is sold, it is irretrievably out of stock.

The Cosmic Dust collection is one of our one-of-a-kind series featuring sculpturally designed individual pieces that combine raw and polished materials in an unusual way. The pieces include rings such as "Andromeda", "Cosmic Aurora" or "Thundercloud" - each a distinctive unique piece.

The engagement ring assortment includes various styles: solitaire rings (a central stone), memory rings (set all around with stones), multi-stone rings, raw diamond rings (with natural, uncut diamonds) as well as engagement rings for him. Lab-grown diamonds can also be used upon request.

For a personal consultation, it is highly recommended to book an appointment.

For wedding/partner rings, there is a choice between gold and platinum rings, as well as tantalum wedding rings. Tantalum is a modern, extremely hard and hypoallergenic metal and a particularly sought-after alternative for men's rings or people with metal allergies.

Custom designs are possible. This will be discussed during a personal consultation. During this consultation, you can express your preferences regarding stones, metal, shape, and any engravings. Please note: Personalized items (e.g., with engravings) are excluded from returns.

A fascinator is a small, decorative headpiece, typically attached with hairpins or combs. It is lighter and smaller than a hat but more festive than a simple hairband. In this area, Elisabeth Habig combines her skills as a trained milliner with her jewelry artistry.

The headwear range covers various occasions: specifically for the bride, for wedding guests, for horse races, for balls, and for everyday wear. Besides fascinators, there are also classic headbands. You can find the entire collection HERE.

The best way to discover and try on our current collections – such as our exclusive bridal fascinators – is to visit us directly on site. For custom orders, please let us know well in advance.

Orders can be conveniently placed via the online shop at elisabethhabig.com. Alternatively, pieces can be purchased directly at the store in Vienna (Spiegelgasse 25, 1010 Vienna). For special pieces – especially engagement and wedding rings – a personal consultation is recommended.

The following payment methods are accepted in the online shop: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Union Pay, PayPal, Klarna (including installment payments), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and EPS. All common payment methods are therefore available.

In our store, we accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro) as well as cash payments.

By default, billing is in Euros (EUR). However, the shop supports a variety of currencies worldwide – the currency can be adjusted in the upper right corner of the shop.

There is a dedicated page on the website about how to measure your ring size. It describes instructions on how to determine the correct size at home. In the studio, the ring size can of course also be measured directly on site.

The range covers a wide price spectrum. Simpler pieces like earring pendants start at around €290, while high-quality unique pieces with rare gemstones can cost several thousand euros (e.g., selected one-of-a-kind rings up to over €6,000). Most jewelry pieces in the regular collection are priced between approximately €400 and €2,500.

Custom engravings and personalizations are possible – please inquire directly (studio@elisabethhabig.com or by phone). Important: Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Elisabeth Habig ships to most countries worldwide. All orders are sent insured.

Delivery is handled by Österreichische Post AG. For orders exceeding €500, we ship with the special courier Go Rocket – for additional security with valuable items.

Worldwide: usually 14–20 business days.

Yes. Jewelry can generally be returned within 14 days of receipt without stating a reason. Prerequisite: The item has not been worn and shows no signs of wear. A try-on is excluded. The original packaging (box and pouch) must be complete and intact.

The buyer bears the shipping costs for the return. The shipment must be insured. The only exception: In the case of a demonstrably defective product, Elisabeth Habig will cover the return costs and refund the purchase price in full.

Personalized items – such as those with a personal engraving – are excluded from returns and exchanges. This applies regardless of whether the item has been worn or not.

Please first contact studio@elisabethhabig.com by email to announce the return. The team will then initiate the next steps.

Obvious material or manufacturing defects, as well as transport damage, must be reported immediately upon receipt. Please report them immediately by email or phone. Failure to report immediately will not affect your statutory rights.

Sustainability is not a marketing buzzword, but part of our daily work. This is evident through: no mass production, handmade manufacturing in our own Vienna studio, the use of recycled gold, remelting of all gold scraps and offcuts, and collaboration with trustworthy, small suppliers.

Recycled gold comes from existing material cycles – for example, from melted-down old jewelry or industrial recovery processes – instead of new mining. The Austrian foundries that Elisabeth Habig collaborates with predominantly use this recycled material. All gold scraps in the studio itself are also collected and melted down again.

For Elisabeth Habig, sustainability means not following short-lived trends. Instead, she creates pieces of jewelry with a timeless design language that retain their relevance even after decades and thus become lifelong companions. Buy less, but better – that's a sustainable idea embedded in every design.

Elisabeth Habig buys old gold and directly offsets its material value against a new piece of jewelry from the collection. This is ideal for jewelry that is no longer worn – whether damaged, out of fashion, or incomplete. This way, the gold remains in circulation and contributes to sustainability.

The purchased old gold is melted down at Heimerle und Meule and thus returned to the gold cycle.

The General Terms and Conditions are directly available on the website at General Terms and Conditions. They apply to all purchases made through the online shop.
